The Story of the End Times

$50.00

Saturday February 1st & March 1st, 8:30am-12:30pm @ Good Shepherd Community Church.

NOTE: This is a two part class.

What is this course all about?

Many Christians make a huge mistake when they study the “end times” or eschatology: they try to read the Bible like a calendar or timeline of events. This genre mistake results in a lot of confusing charts and debates about the millennium or tribulation. God could’ve put a calendar in the Bible and cleared it all up and if he was trying to, he did a really bad job! So, if God wasn’t trying to give us a timeline of end time events what was he trying to tell us? God is telling us the end of the story.

After taking this course you will be able to . . .

  • understand why God tells us the end of the story.

  • link your eschatology with the rest of the story of the Bible.

  • identify the sure and certain hopes God holds out for us in the end of the story.

  • apply the message of the end of the story to your real life today.

  • love God more deeply through your study of eschatology.

*You are welcome to audit Core School classes at the regular cost. Audit students are not required to complete the assigned homework and will not receive credit toward Core School Certificates in Biblical and Theological Studies.
